Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop WEEKEND

Welcome back and thank you for stopping by today for Part 2 of the Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop.  We are showcasing lots of new gorgeous projects today, using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue.

Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep on hopping.  We love comments, so please tell us what you think!

If you arrived from Lisa's blog, then welcome!!

Have you seen the new Spring/Summer Catalogue?  It has so many lovely new products, it was really hard to choose what items to use for this hop!

As February is the month of 'LURRRVVVEEEE', I went for a Valentines theme for my projects, and I'm really pleased with the way they turned out.

I love little gift bags and boxes, and I use them for all sorts of occasions.  The little glassine bag has been stamped all over to give it a bit of colour, and is filled with 'Love Hearts' (one of my favourite sweets).  Ive teamed it up with one of the two tags dies and a new flower trim.  The trim comes in a Vanilla colour but can be changed so easily with either some re-inker or Stampin Write Marker Pens.  I have coloured mine with a Real Red Marker Pen.

I have finished it all off with a bit of Bakers Twine around the top, and one of the new Large Rhinestones just for a little 'bling'.

The second little gift box I made was using the Petal Cone Bigz L Die.

The die should produce a cone like the one pictured below, but if you cut it down slightly, it turns out a little like a takeaway box!!

Wrapped in some of the Two-Tone Ribbon in Basic Gray/Basic Black, it makes such a pretty bow on the top.

The Heart Tag (which was cut from one of the 12x12 sheets from the More Amore Papers) has been embellished with a little bit of dazzling diamonds, to show up the heart.

The Designer Series Brad has got an epoxy bubble on top of it (its quite hard to tell on the photo), but you are able to add some coordinating paper behind it, by using one of the Itty Bitty Punches.

So Much To Say.......

Hi all,

Wow, where do I start?  May has started with such a bang in the Stampin' Up! World!!  Not only did the new Summer Mini Catalogue go live (see link on right hand side), but they have also reduced the Demonstrator Starter Kit to £99 and it is now FULLY customisable so that YOU get to decide what items you want in it.

If that wasnt good enough, they are also giving away to anyone who signs up during the month of May, a free ticket to attend the European SU Convention which is being held in Germany in November 2012.  This is an absolute bargain, as the ticket is worth £149!!

I am so excited for the changes that are ahead, and will update you again towards the end of the week with the new projects I have been working on.

Until next time......
