I am SOOOO excited to share this new product with you and oh my goodness, you are just going to love it!!!!

I would like to introduce to you the new Stampin' Up! Stamparatus.  I was lucky enough to attend the Demo only event called OnStage in Solihull at the weekend, and the lovely CEO of Stampin' Up! Sara Douglass introduced us to this BRAND NEW product.

It has been designed in collaboration with some of the top Demos from around the world, and even though it looks similar to other products on the market, it most certainly is one of a kind!

Here are just a few of the features:

Compatible with Stampin’ Up!’s red rubber and photopolymer stamp
Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
2 reversible plates: a total of 4 surfaces to work with
2 magnets to hold the paper in place
Magnet storage areas
Retail Price–59,00 €/£44.00

Here's a great video showcasing all the wonderful features:-

This product launch is completely different to anything we’ve ever done before, as we anticipate there to be an extremely high demand for this. Your tool will be ordered like a pre-order, reserve your spot, and wait for your tool to arrive. Doing it this way will stop out of stocks and back orders, although we will have to wait slightly longer, we will be more efficient in our inventory, happy and stress-free!

Here’s how to reserve yours.

There will be three separate product reservations windows and corresponding shipping dates, all explained in the chart below:-
The first window opens on Thursday 16th November at 9pm GMT or 10pm CET.

Please note, NO PAYMENT will be taken from your Credit Card until you finalise and close the order.

Customer Stamparatus Launch Q&A

Q: How do I reserve my Stamparatus?
A: Normally you order Stampin’ Up! products through the online store; in this case, you will click the RESERVE link (which can be accessed from HERE) on the Stamparatus page which will take you to the reservation page.
Q: What if I do not have a Stampin’ Up! customer account?
A: To reserve a Stamparatus, you must have a customer account. To create one, click Create Account on the online store.

Q: Why does it take so long for the Stamparatus to ship?
A: We will place an order with the manufacturer based on how many reservations are made during any given reservation window. Shipping dates depend on how long it takes the order to arrive in our warehouse after the tools have been manufactured.

Q: Will the available-to-ship dates be the same for all markets?
A: Yes.

Q: Am I billed at the time I reserve my Stamparatus?
A: No. You will be billed when you finalise and close your order.

Q: When will I be charged for the Stamparatus?
A: When inventory arrives in the warehouse, we will add your reservation to a shopping cart. We will then send you an email notifying you that your Stamparatus order is ready. At this time you will pay for and finalise your order.

Q: Will I be able to add other products to my Stamparatus reservation?
A: No. However, once your reservation is transferred to your shopping cart, you will then be able to add other items to your order. Important note: Please do not delete the Stamparatus from your order. We will not be able to add it back and you will lose your reservation.

Q: Will I be able to update my address when I open my shopping bag to complete my order?
A: Yes.

Q: What if I change my mind and want to cancel my reservation?
A: You can cancel your reservation at any time.

Q: Will the tool be available in the 2018–2019 annual catalogue?
A: Yes. Once the annual catalogue ordering period begins, you will be able to order the Stamparatus as you would any other product. Reservations will no longer be required, and there will be no limit on the number of tools you can order.

Q: Once the Stamparatus has been added to my shopping cart, how long will it stay there?
A: Indefinitely. As with all products, it will be subject to temporary interruptions in availability depending on demand.

Q: When I close my order, can I take advantage of current Stampin’ Up! promotions?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I participate in all three reservation periods?
A: Yes.

Q: How many stamp placement tools can I reserve per reservation window?
A: For customers, there is a limit of 1 per reservation window.

Q: How did we come up with the name Stamparatus?
A: We landed on an innovative name by combining two words that speak to the end use of the tool as well as Stampin’ Up! branding.

Stamp: To impress a pattern or mark (especially an official one) on a surface, object, or document using an engraved or inked block or die or other instrument

Apparatus: The technical equipment or machinery needed for a particular activity or purpose

Stamp + Apparatus = Stamparatus

My Own Superhero's Birthday

Today is such a special day for our family, as my Hubby Darren celebrates his 44th Birthday.  When designing his birthday card, I thought it would be very apt to use the Everyday Hero Stamp Set, as of course he is MY Everyday Hero ❤!!

This stamp set is available to order from the current Spring/Summer catalogue.
I used the new Watercolour Pencils to colour in the Superhero, and also the  word WOW to match.  I'm not the best at colouring as I always manage to go outside the lines, but these new pencils were so easy to use and blended so well when using the Stampin' Up! Blender Pen.
I absolutely love the little row of buildings at the bottom of the card, so had to stamp them on the inside as well:-

This was a really fun card to make, so I'm hoping he will like it!

Here's the list of supplies that I used:-

There's a First Time for Everything!

Sometimes I struggle with ideas and colours when making cards.  I scour Pinterest or Google Images for inspiration, but sometimes when you 'sort' of know what you're looking for, it doesn't always jump out of the page!

So this week, I thought I would have a go at creating a card using the guidelines from a Challenge Blog.  These usually are a weekly challenge that can be either a colour combo, a theme or even a sketch.

I chose 2 different blogs in the end, Global Design Project for the colour combination and Freshly Made Sketches for the Sketch.

Here's the brief I was given:

So, I had the colour combo all set out, and also the sketch that needed to be followed!  Here's what I came up with:-

I used all of the colours in the #GDP077 colour combo + Very Vanilla as my free choice (just for the cardstock).

I kept it quite simple (and not too girly) as it was for one of Emily's 'boy' friends birthdays, so id been given STRICT instructions not to put any flowers or pink on it!

Hope you like it anyway, and here is the supply list should you want to re-create any of it yourself!

Dont forget if you spend more than £40/€60 then you can chose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item as well - more details are available if you click the catalogue on the right hand side.
